Forward email and export contacts to CSV

Forward business emails to EmailToCRM, extract the contacts automatically, and export a clean CSV for CRM import, mail merge, or outreach tools.

The shortest path from a useful email to a usable list is two actions: forward and export. Everything else (plugins, CSV templates, weekend cleanup) is optional complexity. If your team can forward mail and download a file, you can keep a current contact list.

EmailToCRM (emailtocrm.online) is built around that loop. Forward email to your private address, review contacts in the dashboard, export CSV when outreach or CRM import is due.

Why forward → CSV works for real teams

  • Works in every mail client, including mobile
  • No IT project to connect a mailbox API for a trial
  • CSV opens in Sheets, Excel, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, and most sequencers
  • You stay selective about what enters the list

It is deliberately boring infrastructure, and boring is what busy GTM teams finish using.

Step 1: Forward the email

  1. Create an account and copy your you@emailtocrm.online address.
  2. In Gmail/Outlook, forward (or use a quick action) to that address.
  3. Leave the thread intact so headers, CCs, and signatures remain.
  4. On Team plans, add tags in the address: you+lead+export-ready@emailtocrm.online.

EmailToCRM extracts contacts from To, From, CC, body text, and signatures, then deduplicates repeats.

Step 2: Quick review

Open Contacts:

  • Confirm the people you expected were captured
  • Remove internal addresses you do not want in the CSV
  • Adjust tags if a forward was miscategorized
  • Spot-check company/phone fields before a calling day

This review is measured in minutes, not hours, because you are not building the sheet from scratch.

Step 3: Export contacts to CSV

Every plan includes CSV export:

  1. Filter by tag or search if you only need a segment.
  2. Export the current view (or all contacts, depending on your workflow).
  3. Import the file into your CRM or outreach tool using email as the unique key.
  4. Start sequences or assignments while context from the original email is fresh.

That is the whole product loop: forward email and export contacts to CSV.

Sample day-of-outreach checklist

  • Morning: export overnight forwards tagged hot
  • Import CSV to CRM with source “EmailToCRM”
  • Assign owners
  • Launch follow-ups
  • Afternoon: keep forwarding new intros so tomorrow’s export is already filling

Start the loop on one email today

Pick a message that already contains people you plan to contact. Forward it to EmailToCRM, watch the contacts appear, and download your first CSV. Once that path feels natural, the list stops being a project and becomes a habit.
