Questions, answered

Do I need to install anything?+
No. EmailToCRM works entirely by email forwarding. You get an address, you forward to it, and contacts appear in your dashboard. Nothing to install on your mail server or devices.
Is there a free trial on paid plans?+
No. Team and Enterprise start billing right away. There is no separate trial period. Use the free Starter plan to try EmailToCRM with up to 50 contacts and CSV export. Tagging and higher limits require a paid plan.
How exactly do the tags work?+
On Team and Enterprise plans, add tags to your address with a plus sign, for example iam+office+banking@emailtocrm.online. Everything between the + signs and the @ becomes a tag, and the extracted contacts are filed under those tags automatically. The free Starter plan does not include plus-address tagging.
What gets extracted from an email?+
Names and email addresses from the To/CC/From fields and the body, plus titles, phone numbers and company names found in signatures. Duplicates are merged and contacts are enriched with company and domain data.
Is our data secure?+
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS), never sold, and not used to train AI models. A DPA is available on request. Contact us for residency and compliance details for your organization.
How do I get contacts into my spreadsheet or CRM?+
Export a CSV from your dashboard (all contacts or filtered by tag) and import it wherever you keep contacts. Every plan includes CSV export.
